ComputersSeven public workstations (one wheelchair-accessible) with access to web-based library resources and the Internet are available in the Anthropology Library. Be aware that these machines are not loaded with productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or Powerpoint. UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff are given priority for computer use, and a CalNet ID is required for unrestricted Internet access. Information about computer privileges and responsibilities is available from the UC Berkeley Library Computer Use Policy. Headphones are available from the circulation desk, or you are welcome to bring your own. See Services for Users with Disabilities for more information about specialized computer equipment. Wireless access, via Air Bears, is available within the Anthropology Library for patrons with a Calnet ID. Study tables are also equipped with electrical outlets for laptop use. Off-campus access to most online library resources is available to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff. See Connecting from Off Campus for further description and set-up instructions.
