Exhibits and Interpretive Programs Committee
Charge:
- Cultivate, review and select proposals for exhibits for the exhibit spaces in the Brown Gallery (Doe Library), Spotlight Showcase
(Doe Library), and Moffitt Library's exhibit cases to best represent UCB Library collections, services and initiatives for general audiences.
- Support exhibit development and promotion as described in the Exhibit Manual.
- Identify innovative marketing approaches from other institutions and propose specific activities to promote library services,
collections, and expertise including areas such as traditional services, new services, social web tools, exhibits, and special events.
Membership:
Approximately six library staff representing different units and specialties, with one member from the Library Development Office. Members
appointed after an open call for volunteers. Usually 3-4 positions filled each year, each with two year appointments. For the first year, members will be appointed with staggered terms.
