Our list of electronic journals includes titles that we think are most useful for our primary clientele.
The UCB campus has access to many more journals than are on this list. Other electronic journals may be found by searching OskiCat, Melvyl, or the UC-eLinks List of Electronic Journals.
We access electronic journals by IP address only. If you are trying to view electronic journals from an off-campus location, you must use the Library's Proxy Server Service or Virtual Private Network.
Links to specific journal articles may be found when searching most of our bibliographic databases on the web or by using the UC-eLinks Single Citation Linker. The
button is the link to access full text. If there is no direct link to an article, be sure to check the Melvyl Catalog as the library still may have electronic access. (Note: UC eLinks is available in PubMed ONLY when it is accessed through our URL (http://uclibs.org/PID/17708).

Access to electronic journals is governed by license agreements that restrict access to UC Berkeley students, faculty and staff members or by anyone using the UCB libraries in person. It is the responsibility of individual users to ensure that these resources are used for personal and/or educational non-commercial purposes without systematically downloading, distributing, printing or retaining substantial portions of the information. Please read the conditions of use statement for more information. Breaches of the University's contractual arrangements with publishers could result in the suspension of access to the resources for the entire UC Berkeley community.
Copies of agreements entered into by the California Digital Library (CDL) on behalf of the University of California system can be viewed at CDL's Redacted License Agreements page. For further questions about conditions of use or other licensing restrictions, contact the Electronic Resources Librarian.

Electronic publishing is still new and unstable. If you have trouble accessing a journal to which we should have access, or have comments about this page, please contact the Bioscience and Natural Resources Library staff.
