Book Discovery Tools

Use a library catalog to find books, journals, magazines, government reports, maps, and other materials owned by the UCB libraries, or use Google Books to search within the full text of books owned by libraries worldwide. Library catalogs usually do not index the individual articles within magazines and journals.

ebrary is a collection of nearly 40,000 electronic books in a wide range of subject areas, including many titles related to environmental studies and literature. It contains popular-level books in all categories, as well as some specialized, technical titles. Note: Books are searchable and viewable online, but cannot be downloaded.

Encyclopedia of Biodiversity

The electronic version of the five-volume Encyclopedia of Biodiversity; provides in-depth information on all aspects of biodiversity issues worldwide, including social and policy issues.
