- Yoshikazu Suzuki and Shohachi Kimura. Ginza Kaiwai. Ginza Haccho. Tokyo: Toho-shobo, 1954. A rare two-volume work predating artist Edward Ruscha's Every Building on the Sunset Strip by over a decade, but presenting this other famous thoroughfare in a very similar fashion. First edition.
- Francesca Woodman. Some Disoriented Interior Geometries. Philadelphia: Synapse, 1981. This is a rare facsimile of an artist book made by Woodman in the late 1970s. The photographer juxtaposes her self-photographed body within selected pages from an Italian geometry exercise book.
- Procopios of Caesarea. De gli Edifici di Giustiniano Imperatore. Di greco in volgare tradotti per Benedetto Egio da Spoleti. Written circa 553-555, and probably commissioned by the Emperor Justinian, the work is rich in information on temples, arenas, fortifications, hospices and other buildings constructed by Justinian throughout his reign. First edition, Eighteenth-century stiff vellum binding.

This is the manuscript version of this important document related to California history.)

- Osaka. Kenchiku Kenkyukai (Architectural Research Group), eds. Shoten Kenchiku Sekkei Hen. Osaka, Yodoya Shoten Shuppanbu, Shōwa 13 [1938], 3rd printing. Series: Kenchiku Sekkei Shiryo Zushu. Extremely rare book illustrating architecture, especially commercial buildings in Japan, many of which were destroyed in WWII.
- Almanach d'Architecture Moderne: la rédaction de cet almanach est faite par L[e] C[orbusier, pseud.]. Paris: G. Crès et Cie, [1925] Early monograph by Le Corbusier that documents his L'Espirit Nouveau Pavilion for the International Exhibition of Decorative Art (Paris, 1925). In addition to presenting his theories, and the history and description of the pavilion, he discusses two of the projects exhibited.
- Fahnestock, Jackson. About Place: A Place Where; A Little Black & White Book; Inked Impressions. San Francisco: Jackson Fahnestock, 2008-09. A series of 3 handmade artists's books housed in a wooden box shaped like a building. Made by a San Francisco architect, the books describe three "tours" of imaginary towns where the visitor has paused and reflected on what's before him. They include special images and sketches from extensive travels in Europe that reflect highly personalized images of the physical environment and speak to the subliminal feelings and interpretive observations that impact impressions of a place and its environs. Limited ed. of 100.

Hargrove already had a microfilm of the 1612 edition of all five parts of this set of madrigals; this part allows not only for interesting comparisons with the earlier edition but also closer study of the details of the Gardano firm's printing.
