Scope of Collection
The Media Studies collection supports teaching and research in the Media Studies Major, the Graduate School of Journalism, and the exceptionally wide group of other humanities and social sciences disciplines interested in the contemporary and historical study of mass media. The Library collects at a research level in nearly every language of the world. Concentration of the Media Studies collection is on the cultural, political, and economic aspects of electronic media, including television, radio, and evolving digital forms of communication. The major part of the collection is located in the Gardner (MAIN) Stacks, with additional materials in the Moffitt Library (UNDE, core English-language).
