Scope of Collection
The collection serves the School of Optometry and the Vision Science Program. It shows depth and breadth in fields related to eye and vision. Within these areas are included anatomy, physiology, neurology, biochemistry, pathology and microbiology of the visual organs of humans and other animals; visual and color perception; ocular pharmacology; occupational and environmental vision; ophthalmic photography; low vision and blindness; history of optometry; and the social, legal, economic, and professional aspects of eye care.
