Citation & Paper Writing
College writing involves researching and gathering information and citations from quality, reputable sources, organizing the citations, quoting and paraphrasing so as to avoid plagiarism, following copyright guidelines, logically arranging thoughts and arguments, clearly expressing ideas, adhering to college-level expository writing standards, and preparing bibliographies that follow course-required citation styles. In the fields of education, psychology and other social sciences, the most frequently used citation style is that of APA. The Library provides below several tools, resources, guides and links to assist you with paper writing and citation management.
