Borrowing from Other Libraries

UCB faculty, staff, and students can request materials that are not available at the UCB libraries. There are several options available depending on what you are looking for and how you located the reference to it:

Expedited article and paper requests

Use this option if you are faculty, research staff, or a graduate student in the College of Engineering, and you are looking for a journal article or conference paper not available at UCB. Use the expedited article and paper request form or submit your request in person at the Engineering Library Reference Desk. Requested documents will usually be delivered electronically (web delivery) in one to three days.

UC-eLinks Request

Use this option to request a journal article or conference paper not available at UCB, when using the UC-eLinks button in an article database. Requested documents will usually be delivered electronically (web delivery) in three to ten days. Paper copies will be sent directly to the requester.
