General Research Assistance for Persons with Disabilities

The availability of drop-in reference help may vary from library to library. You are encouraged to check the list of Library Contacts for Users with Disabilities to locate someone to assist you with:

  • Connecting to library resources from off campus
  • Using library catalogs, such as OskiCat and Melvyl to research a topic
  • Accessing electronic resources
  • Determining library holdings and locations from extensive bibliographies
  • Reading call numbers or provide oral or written directions to help locate library materials for those with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and ADD
