Contacts (liaisons)
The Library has designated a library liaison to serve as the
principal contact for each campus department and program. Liaisons
have primary responsibility for providing library information
and services to faculty and students in their department. They
serve as the first point of contact for information about library
policies, procedures and services. They provide specialized
reference consultations and teach classes to support research
using library resources. They select library materials for purchase
and they work with other selectors in the Library to acquire
library materials. Further details are available in Library Faculty Communications: Guidelines for Library Liaisons.
A detailed list of liaisons is shown below. A brief version is available for review and/or printing.
In addition to expertise and collections in The Library, there
are a number of Affiliated Libraries pertinent to areas of study.
These are listed below. For a complete list of affiliated libraries,
see the Affiliated
Libraries' home page.
You may also contact:
- Elizabeth A. Dupuis (edupuis @ library.berkeley.edu), Associate
University Librarian and Director, Doe/Moffitt Libraries
- Bernie Hurley (bhurley @ library.berkeley.edu), Acting Associate University
Librarian and Director, Collections
The Library has designated library liaisons
to academic support units, modeled after the support provided
to departments and programs.
