Hargrove Music Library staff are happy to assist faculty and students with teaching and research. Instruction in Music Library resources and music research can be tailored to the needs of particular classes or individuals. Please email Manuel Erviti or call (510) 643-6197 to arrange for a customized library instruction session for classes or individuals interested in music research.

Orientation Tours, designed to introduce Hargrove Music Library services and facilities, are offered at the beginning of each semester. Drop-in tours lasting about 30 minutes begin at the Reference Desk on the Entry Level; there is no need to sign up. Please contact the Reference Desk to arrange tours at other times.

UCB Library. The Teaching Library offers drop-in instruction sessions (at 350C Moffit) in the use of library tools and research methods. Appointments for assistance with library research projects in the humanities and social sciences are available for undergraduates at the Doe Library Reference Center through the Research Advisory Service.
