ProQuest Dissertations & Theses A&I (1639 - current) 
Note: Access limited to UCB faculty, staff, and students.
Provides access to the citations of the more than 2 million titles in Dissertation Abstracts, from 1639 to the present. Citations for dissertations published from 1980 forward and master's theses since 1988 also include brief abstracts written by the author. Offers full text of most of the dissertations added since 1997. Some of the complete text of earlier dissertations can be purchased from this site, or may be obtained by using Interlibrary Borrowing Service.
Foreign Dissertations Search (CRL)
Note: Access limited to UCB faculty, staff, and students.
Provides access to doctoral dissertations from around the world which have been submitted to institutions outside of the U.S. and Canada. Allows limiting to specific languages. Has many pertaining to the field of public health.
SCIRUS ETD (Electronic Theses and Dissertations) Search
Provides access to a union catalog/portal of more than 1 million records of electronic theses and dissertations from around the world. Search by many means, including full text, keyword, title, author, language, and date. Many of the dissertations and theses are of interest to public health researchers. The sponsor of this collection is the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD).
UCB-UCSF Joint Medical Program Thesis Index
Provides access to citations of Joint Medical Program theses filed after 1985. Index is browseable in alphabetical order by author or is searchable by author, title, subject, and date. Abstracts and full text of theses are not available through this index. Information on locating specific theses is provided.
