A unique calendar celebrating the golden age of bridge construction on San Francisco Bay. Twelve
superb, high-quality black & white photographs feature scenes and
views taken during construction of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco -- Oakland Bay Bridge in the 1930s. All of the images in this calendar come from the collections of the Water Resources Center Archives.
Spanning the Bay is part of fundraising efforts undertaken by
the Water Resources Center Archives and the Harmer E. Davis Transportation Library.
Publication of this calendar is generously underwritten by a
T.Y. Lin International / Moffatt
& Nichol Engineers joint venture.
