The databases listed below include journal articles, technical reports, and conference papers in the subject areas of industrial engineering and operations research. Use UC-eLinks to link out to full text when available.
For a full list of article databases, see our Article Databases page.
To access UCB Library resources from off campus, configure your machine using one of two simple methods (Proxy Server is the quickest and easiest):
Proxy Server
After you make a one-time change in your web browser settings, the proxy server will ask you to log in with a CalNet ID when you click on the link to a licensed resource. See the setup instructions, FAQ, and Troubleshooting pages to configure your browser. Follow these steps to check your proxy configuration.
VPN (Virtual Private Network)
After you install and run the VPN client software on your computer, you can log in with a CalNet ID to establish a secure connection with the campus network.
Find out which industrial engineering or operations research journals titles we have online by using our E-journals A-Z database.
Or, see the full list of e-journals for industrial engineering or operations research.
If you have a citation, use the UC-eLinks Citation Linker to find the full-text.

Journal Title and Date are required fields. Enter as much information as you have about the publication.
Use the OskiCat catalog to find library items at UC Berkeley.
Use the Melvyl catalog to look in all UC campuses.
You can refine your search to e-books and other online resources by using the Available Online limiter when you are in the OskiCat catalog.
For a full list of new Industrial Engineering and Operations Research books, see our IEOR New Books list.

Citation management tools help you manage your research, collect and cite sources, and create bibliographies in a variety of citation styles. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses, but any are easier than doing it by hand!
It's always good to double check the formatting -- sometimes the software doesn't get it quite right.
Publishers' style guides provide instructions for writing an article for one of its publications. They typically specify the layout and length of the paper, rules for units, graphs and tables, copyright terms, and how to submit the paper.
