Rhetoric
Rhetoric at Berkeley is an interdisciplinary program that explores the theoretical, historical and cultural dimensions of discourse. Undergraduate coursework focuses on the History and Theory of Rhetoric, Public Discourse, and Narrative and Image. Graduate study is concentrated on Classical Rhetoric and Ancient Culture, Continental Philosophy and Critical Theory, Film and Media Studies, Gender and Sexuality, History and Theory, Law, Literary and Cultural Studies, Political and Social Thought, and Race and Ethnicity.
