Find Associations and Societies

Finding associations and societies is often accomplished by using a directory. Listed below are many online directories of associations and societies which provide up-to-date listings. A few are licensed for use by UC Berkeley students, faculty and staff only, but many are freely available to everyone. The library catalog OskiCat should be used to find sources in print and may be especially useful to find historical listings. Several of the UC Berkeley libraries provide webpages that list good resources to use to find subject specific associations and societies.

Scholarly Societies Project
A listing based sponsored by The University of Waterloo, Canada. Includes links to home pages for engineering associations and societies commonly provide information about organization and membership, upcoming events, calls for conference papers, press releases and job announcements.
