Newspapers & Microforms contains the Library's principal collections of newspapers (over 200 active newsprint subscriptions, and over 900 titles archived on microfilm), and microforms (microfilm, microfiche, and micro-opaque formats that include 950,000 books, manuscripts, documents, and serials of significant academic and journalistic value).

Note: Current periodicals, including the latest issues of magazines and journals, are shelved in the East Reading Room and Heyns Reading Room on the second floor of Doe Library.
