Provides access to the full text of most of the dissertations added to the database since 1997. Some earlier dissertations are also available in full-text. Also included, with more than 1.5 million entries (dating back to 1861), is the Dissertation Abstracts International (DAI) database, the authoritative source for information about doctoral dissertations. It is possible to search this database by thesis advisor!
Indexes journal articles and other scholarly publications from selected online resources, especially in the sciences and engineering. Includes content from free resources (such as ArXiv and university websites) as well as subscription resources (such as electronic journals from selected publishers). If the library has licensed them, you can access subscription resources from any computer on-campus or from off-campus via the proxy server. Use the UC-eLinks option, when available, to find the UCB access to a publication.

NTRL is the gateway to indexes, abstracts, and technical reports of the National Technical Information Service (NTIS). The NTIS archives reports from the Departments of Defense, Energy, Transportation, Agriculture, Health and Human Services, and other government agencies. Some full text available.
