The Cal 1 Card automatically has a debit account attached to it, to which you can add funds. (Students may also have meal plan points on their Cal 1 Cards, but these points cannot be used for other goods or services.) Once value is added, you can use your Cal 1 Card account for purchases both on and off campus. This includes printing and scanning costs at the UC Berkeley libraries.
Checking Your Balance
To check a balance on a Cal 1 Card go to the Cal 1 Card site.
- Select Manage Your Cal 1 Card
- Choose Check Balance
- Login using your CALNET ID and Passphrase
