Using Your Cal 1 Card to Print/Scan Adding Funds Adding FundsThe Cal 1 Card automatically has a debit account attached to it, to which you can add funds. (Students may also have meal plan points on their Cal 1 Cards, but these points cannot be used for other goods or services.) Once value is added, you can use your Cal 1 Card account for purchases both on and off campus. This includes printing and scanning costs at the UC Berkeley libraries.
