Acquiring a Card
Cal 1 Card Guest Cards are available at the Moffitt Copy Center and public service desks in each campus library. You will see a nine-digit ID number at the bottom left and an eight-digit character code on the bottom right -- these will be needed to activate your card.
Adding Funds
Go to the Guest Card access site site and select Guest Card Deposits (fourth option on screen)
The Guest Card for printing requires a minimum initial deposit of five dollars ($5.00). Deposits under twenty dollars ($20.00) are subject to a card startup fee of one dollar ($1.00). Additional funds, subject to a minimum deposit of five dollars ($5.00), may be deposited at any time. Deposits may be made online only by credit card (and debit cards with a VISA or MasterCard emblem). Additional methods of payment are not currently available.
When using a credit card, enter your information exactly as it appears in the credit card company’s records (name, billing address, etc).
There are no refunds for balances on Cal 1 Card Guest Cards.
Checking Your Balance
Go to the Cal 1 Card balances page and enter the Guest Card ID number (on the bottom left) and the Guest Card code (on the bottom right) that appear on the back of the card.
You can also check your balance by swiping your card at a BookScan terminal or print release station.
Using Your Card for Other Purposes
Cal 1 Card Guest Cards are accepted at many merchants with locations on and off campus.
